
Spirit Seeker Kid’z Kamp
Spirit Seeker Kid’z Kamp is a great opportunity for your child to meet new friends, make great memories and have wonderful stories to take back home with them! The cost for the Kamp is $25 + HST per child for each 3 hour session. The Kamp is open for kids 5 – 12 years of age. Kampers must bring with them: Water, Snacks, Running Shoes, a Hat and Sunscreen.

Monday Kamps
Introduction to Martial Arts and Outdoor Fun
When: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Spirit Ridge Grounds
Kampers will spend the first hour with our specially-trained instructor learning the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do. This portion includes an introduction to the basic techniques and patterns used in the sport (we do not allow any physical contact). Afterwards, your kamper will enjoy the rest of their afternoon working off all of that summertime energy with plenty of games and activities.
Pasta Dinner Party
When: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: The Spirit Room (in the Main Lodge)
Kampers will enjoy their evening feasting on a delicious pasta dinner, with plenty of games, activities and a movie to follow.
Tuesday Kamps
Coyote Crafts and the Okanagan Culture
When: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Cultural Centre
Kampers will enjoy an afternoon spent learning about the history of the Okanagan area and culture through a variety of activities, including the very popular Snakes Alive! program and a guided desert walk to the on-site replica village. Kampers will also have the opportunity to create their own unique culturally-inspired trinket, such as talking sticks, puppets and even masks!
Pizza, Pajamas and a Movie
When: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: The Spirit Room (in the Main Lodge)
Wear your favourite PJ’s and join us for a fun-filled evening with all the pepperoni and cheese pizzas you could imagine! Kampers will have the choice of apple juice or orange juice to help them wash it all down. To top the evening off, kampers can kick back and enjoy a movie made
just for them!
Wednesday Kamps
Chaptik Stories and Adventures
When: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Cultural Centre
Kampers will start off their morning by attending the Snakes Alive! program, where they will learn about the various species of snakes that inhabit this area. From there, they will venture to the historical replica village where they will learn about the traditional lodgings of the Okanagan people. Afterwards, Kampers will gather in the Pit House Theatre, where they’ll enjoy learning about the legend of Sen’klip
(Coyote).
The Pow Wow Express
When: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Where: Cultural Centre
All aboard the Pow Wow Express! Join us as Russell from the Cultural Centre teaches us about pow wows through his multimedia slide show and his traditional drumming and singing. Russell even demonstrates his traditional pow wow dancing, dressed in all of his formal pow wow regalia. Wow! It’s a sight to see and hear! Afterwards, Kampers will make their way through the centre’s exhibits, learning about the Okanagan area and culture.
Thursday Kamps
Cookies and Crafts
When: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Spirit Ridge Grounds
That’s right! Cookies! Join us to shape, mould, squish and model your cookie into a delicious masterpiece! Finish your creations off with all of the sprinkles, chocolate buds and chips that you can fit on them! Afterwards, try your hand at creating some non-edible masterpieces, like masks, kites and key chains!
Backward Dining and a Movie
When: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Spirit Room (in the Main Lodge)
Back by popular demand! Join us as we enjoy our dinner in backwards order! Dessert first, then our dinner! And don’t forget to wear your clothes backward, otherwise it just won’t be a true backward dinner! After the kampers have finished their dinner, they’ll enjoy the rest of the evening playing games and watching a classic children’s movie.
Friday Kamps
Summertime Sports
When: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Spirit Ridge Grounds and Nk’Mip Playground
Kampers will start their day off playing a variety of summertime sports, including road hockey, soccer, baseball and/or California Kickball. Be sure to pack a lot of water with your kamper, because all that running around will surely make them thirsty!
Water Tubing
When: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Where: Spirit Beach Marina
What better way is there to cool off on a hot summer’s day than with water tubing?! Join us as we spend an hour on the water bopping and dipping in the refreshing waters of Lake Osoyoos. After we’re done on the boat, we’ll spend the rest of our afternoon playing on the beach and enjoying the beautiful Okanagan weather!
Saturday Kamps
Crafts and Outdoor Games
When: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Spirit Ridge Grounds
Kampers will fill their afternoon making plenty of crafts, such as beaded key chains or necklaces, painting and decorating masks, or building their own kite. It’s a great opportunity for your little kamper to make a keepsake of their fun times had at Spirit Ridge. If your kamper isn’t much of the crafty-type, we have an abundance of games and activities for those kampers looking to work off some of that summertime energy.
Karaoke and Twister Party
When: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Spirit Room (in the Main Lodge)
Get those singing voices ready Kampers, because you’ll be belting out your favourite tunes at our Karaoke party! Kampers will be able to choose from thousands of songs from our library– all kamper-appropriate, of course! If your Kamper isn’t much of a singing fan, they’ll have a chance to twist and bend themselves into human pretzels as they challenge each other in a “Twister Twist-Off”. A dinner will also be served.
Sunday Kamps
Rattlers, Ribbets and Rhythms
When: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Cultural Centre
Kampers will enjoy an afternoon filled with adventures as they make their way through the desert trails to the centre’s historical replica village, discover the desert wildlife at “Critter Corner” and spend some time learning about the many species of snakes through the Snakes Alive! program. They will also hear the legends of Sen’klip (Coyote) in two multi-sensory theatres.
Pizza Party and Games
When: 5:30p – 8:30pm
Where: Spirit Room (in the Main Lodge)
Come and join us for an evening dedicated to that delicious pie that we just can’t seem to get enough of – PIZZA! We’ll have all the cheese and pepperoni pizzas that your kamper can enjoy! Afterwards, we will spend the rest of our evening watching a movie and working off all that delicious dinner with tons of fun and games.
