Donation Requests
Although most requests for support are very worthy, Bellstar and its subsidiary resorts can only support a small portion of them due to the volume of applications and limited budgets. Please note, we only donate one-night stays. Below is a list of activities that we can and cannot support. We ask that you please review our guidelines to see if your organization might qualify for a donation.
Requests from the following organizations will be considered by Bellstar:
- Organizations defined as nonprofit
- Public agencies
- Schools and PTAs
- Events, programs and projects that support the researching and funding of medical causes
- Silent Auctions that will be benefiting medial research and funding, and non- profit groups such women's shelters, food banks
- Arts/Cultural/Sports Events in the communities where our resorts exist
Requests from the following organizations will not be considered by Bellstar:
- Events that are incompatible with our corporate mission and values
- Service clubs or fraternal organizations
- Third-party fundraisers
- Private clubs funded through membership fees
- Scholarships
- Individuals
- Live Auctions
- Political or religious agendas
Please note, past support of an organization or event is not a guarantee of future support.
Although we would like to support every worthwhile cause, due to the
volume of applications and limited budgets, it is not possible to
fulfill every request.
Requests must be received 6 to 8 weeks before the date of the event and include the following information:
- Please include the date, time and location of the event
- Please include how the item will be used (silent auction, raffle, door prize, live auction)
- Please include the type of event, and who the beneficiary is
- Please include the name, address and phone number of the contact person for the organization
- Number of people attending event
- No monetary donations are given
- We do not mail items, we prefer that they are picked up
Our gift letters have no cash surrender value, no exchange and no extensions after their expiry date. Please read your gift letter carefully and represent it accurately to the potential recipient.

By accepting a charitable donation on behalf of an organization from Bellstar Hotels & Resorts you acknowledge that Bellstar Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to mention the of the name benefiting party in future publications.
