Bellstar partners to launch full-bodied luxury living among the vines

OKANAGAN VALLEY, BC: Bellstar Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Olympus Resorts to create The Reserve Collection™ – an exclusive collection of private residence clubs in handpicked vineyard locations around the world. The first release of these ultra-luxury residences will debut in Canada's renowned wine region, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

"Vineyard properties are among the most desired locations mentioned by members of leading private destination clubs," says Olympus President, John Prutch. "So we considered visitation and visitor profile for Napa Valley as a case study and explored the success of luxury vineyard resorts in North America. Partnering with an established vineyard resort developer like Bellstar seemed like a natural fit for the first release of this exclusive residence club."

Olympus and Bellstar are actively seeking The Reserve Collection™ locations. To qualify, the vineyard properties must offer exceptional views and the wineries must be premium brands. Through a unique joint venture formula, financial model provides the vineyard/winery owner the opportunity to release equity from his property by allowing him to participate in the creation of the private residence club and share in the development profits. Creating a residence club on the vineyard increases the property's value and the winery brand appeal while delivering a built-in clientele – The Reserve Collection™ members.

The winery will also promote its brand through participation in the Reserve Collection Vintners Club. The club will offer exclusive involvement in wine and food-related events and experiences such as winemaker dinners, private label wines, members-only tastings, viticulture activities and culinary programs. Members will also be able to enjoy discounts offered by wine product specialists.

The Reserve Collection™ residences will be sold as fractional ownership. Ownership will include Vintners Club privileges as well as exchange benefits through the Elite Alliance, a growing array of luxurious worldwide ski, golf and beach destinations.

Future locations for the expansion of The Reserve Collection™ may include wineries in the Gulf Islands of BC, Argentina, New Zealand, Europe, California, Oregon and Washington.
