Bellstar properties donate pet fees to local SPCA’sFor Immediate Release

CALGARY, ALBERTA: Bellstar Hotels & Resorts are proud to support animal rights and have made it their responsibility to advocate not-for-profit organizations dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for animals. Bellstar resort properties collect pet fees for pets staying at their properties and a percentage of these fees go back to the local communities by way of donations to animal charities. Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa and their various properties in Canmore including Solara Resort & Spa and Lodges at Canmore support their local SPCA via these donations – Spirit Ridge the Penticton SPCA and Canmore the Bow Valley SPCA.
In an additional effort to their philanthropic achievement, Bellstar sells adorable wildlife stuffies at their properties with a percentage of the sales contributing to non-profit organizations including Bow Valley WildSmart in Canmore and rattlesnake research in Spirit Ridge. Bellstar has supported these organizations for several years and will continue to be a dedicated benefactor for animal support and protection organizations.
Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa will present two cheques. One to the Penticton Branch of the BC SPCA in the amount of $1,360.50 and one to the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre who administers the Rattlesnake Research Program in the amount of $90.00.
