A Glamorous Girlfriend Getaway to Kick-Start the Holiday Season

OSOYOOS, BC (October 16, 2012): This November, gather your girlfriends for a well-deserved weekend of fun and festive cheer at the second annual Champagne & Stockings weekend, held at Spirit Vineyard Resort & Spa in Osoyoos, BC.

Held from November 23rd-25th, Champagne & Stockings offers two full days of activities paired with a one or two night stay – the perfect opportunity for a pre-Christmas escape with friends or family. Chef Dave Ryan will be on hand to offer suggestions for holiday entertaining and a glamorous fashion show will not only reveal some of the latest holiday party fashions, but will also showcase garments and jewellery on sale at the craft market. Two charity auctions will feature during the weekend with the chance to win sought-after prizes while raising funds for those less privileged.

Adding to the festive spirit, Spirit Ridge and Nk’Mip Cellars will be aglow with the annual Festival of Trees. Local businesses decorate trees to raise funds for South Okanagan Children’s Foundation and the BC Children’s Hospital, and they are displayed throughout the resort.
